FDA Recalls Morovan Gel Nail Polish Removers

Products contain prohibited methylene chloride and chloroform.

Morovan, along with the FDA, is recalling 15ml gel nail polish removers due to the detection of methylene chloride and chloroform in the affected products. According to the recall, both “hazardous substances are strictly prohibited in cosmetic formulations.” About 4,000 units are involved in this recall.
